Rest Days 1,2, & 3

Day 1 (5.16.2017) of Rest was pretty much that all day till the evening. We played, we had visitors (My sister and Brother in law and Caroline) When the evening hit and we wanted to get ready for bed that when the hard rest part began. Bath followed by throwing up twice and then a dressing change off his line. (He Threw up on the dressing so we had to change it. Let's just leave it at going to bed at 1130 / midnight is not the Funnest.

Day 2 (5.17.2017) of Rest was a continue the night before - throwing up 4x in the morning and not eating much. I thought this was the being of a very long couple of weeks (and it still is) But things turned around after a Popsicle, music therapy, and a visit from C to make the day so much better. Caroline  and dad had their first Daddy Daughter Day/Date. They had lunch together, then went to the Children's Museum and then C wanted to come see if Tanner was all better yet. Oh sweet girl, its going to be a long summer of not being home very much and T being Sick for a very long time.
Oh and we woke up to snow on Day 2!

Day 3 (5.18.2017)was another GREAT DAY! NO THROW UP and We got word that the donor did her part and transplant will be at 4/430 tomorrow (5.19.2017) We are Eternally Grateful for our Team of Doctors helping us get to this point and for the Donor where ever she maybe that she was willing to take time out of her life and do a surgery that is probably not the easiest on to help out our family and to give T a chance at a normal life of a Kid without meds, shots and being in the hospital when he does get sick! Today we did lots of playing, trying to fix toys, eating chocolate, watching movies/shows and we both got to nap. It was a good day for mommy and tanner time. Although we did have our moments when T only wanted to eat Chocolate instead of his food. Oh I love that kid and he is doing amazing and it makes me so happy! I know I still have tough times ahead but it will be worth it. (I have to keep reminding my self that and to have patience)

T is trying to fix his toy he broke - T think he is watching mom and dad close when we fix things! (Sorry the Video is side ways)

All in, All This weeks had gone 10x better with Tanner than I expected, yes we did have some hard moments, but they were just moments. Thanks for all the Love, Support, Thoughts, and Prayers - for not only Tanner and for us as his parents and sister, but also for My Sister and Brother in law, Brittnee  and David, and her new baby boy! Her baby is doing so much better and they hope all will go well tonight will be able to go home tomorrow as well! So tomorrow is a not only a BIG day for T but also for his Cousin, which I hope they will be Best Friends! Love you all! DON'T FORGET TO WEAR YOUR BABY BLUE TOMORROW! (Or by the time most of you are reading this...TODAY!)
